Klaas received his Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universty of Twente in 2002.

Prior to joining ALGO, he was a System Architect at Recore Systems, where he designed and implemented the Xentium, a high-performance Digital
Signal Processor.

Currently he is working on efficient VLSI implementations in the area of digital communication.
