Mahdi got his bachelor degrees in Software Engineering and Computer Hardware Engineering from [[http://www.sharif.edu|Sharif University of Technology]] in 2004. He joined ALGO/LMA in October 2004 as a Masters student of Computer Science and then as a PhD student. He left ALGO/LMA in September 2010.
