Armin has received his Ph.D.E.E. from EPFL, Lausanne in 2010, and since then he has joined EPFL ALGO as a post-doc. He is currently working on advanced techniques for designing high-speed serial data transceivers for chip-to-chip communications. Before joining EPFL, he was with Emad Semiconductor as a Senior analog/RF design engineer for seven years.
His main research interests includes high-speed communication systems, and power-aware optimal circuit design techniques.
Armin has received the Kharazmi Award on Research and Development, 2000, Outstanding Design Engineer, Emad Semicon, 2001, Award of the best Iranian researchers, 2003, ACM/CICC Award, 2009, and EPFL Prime Special Award, 2009. He has served as a technical program committee member in IEEE International Conference on Computer Design (ICCD), 2010.
Armin is now a lead engineer at Kandou Bus
