Luoming received his Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2009, where he also recieved his B. Eng degree in Electrical Engineering in 2003. During his PhD study, his work mainly focused on the design and implementation of wireless broadband communication system. As a key teamplayer, he paticipated in several research projects, including the standarisation of China's digital teresstrial television broadcasting, demo design of China's beyond 3G system in TDD mode.
From July 2009, he joined the ALGO group. He is doing research on designing of error-correcting codes for data storage system with Prof. Shokrollahi. Recently, His research interests mainly include algebraic geometry, physical network coding and data storage system. Here is My homepage
