A distributed coding scheme is a system where sources can be encoded whithout any communication among them. An elegant Slepian-Wolf theorem affirms that correlated sources that do not communicate can be compressed as efficient as if they communicated.

The aim of this project is to design and analyze an LT codes'scheme for distributed source and joint source-channel coding using density evolution techniques .
